We are looking for a full-time office assistant/legal assistant. This position provides direct support to the Firm Administrator and legal support to attorneys.
Responsibilities and Duties
As the office assistant, he/she will assist the Firm Administrator with ordering supplies, organizing the office and case files, managing vendors and entering accounts payable data. He/She will also assist with various special projects relating to business marketing and firm social events.
As a legal assistant, the person will assist our legal team with legal calendaring, court filings, online legal research, document production, and preparing shell documents for pleadings, discovery, motions and other documents as needed.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, be detail and results-oriented, work well under pressure, and have excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications and Skills
Administrative or legal assistant experience preferred.
Bachelor degree and/or paralegal certification preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office Programs: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
