Riley Balestreri

Riley Balestreri is an Associate Attorney with Saber Law Group. As an Associate Attorney, Mrs. Balestreri works closely with the Saber Law Group attorneys on all aspects of the Firm’s civil litigation matters. Mrs. Balestreri conducts extensive factual and legal research on employment matters at the federal and state level involving discrimination, complex wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination and retaliation claims as well matters involving both federal and California fair housing laws. She also assists attorneys in drafting motions including ex parte applications, motions to compel, demurrers and motions for summary judgment as well as preparing discovery responses and assisting the attorneys with complex e-discovery collection, review, and analysis.

Prior to joining Saber Law Group, Mrs. Balestreri worked in civil and criminal defense private practice and interned in the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, with the Felony and Misdemeanor Unit as well as the Juvenile Delinquency Division. She also clerked for the Stanislaus County Public Defender’s Office. After graduating from law school in just two and a half years, Mrs. Balestreri second-chaired a civil bench-trial involving a probate dispute over a decedent’s estate and while in her final year of law school she also second-chaired the defense of a criminal misdemeanor jury-trial.
